【摘要】:ThistestmethoddescribesthedeterminationofthereddyeconcentrationofdieselfuelandheatingoilandtheestimationoftheASTMcolorofundyedandred-dyeddieselfuelandheatingoil.ThetestmethodisappropriateforusewithdieselfuelandheatingoilofGrades1and2describedinSpecificationsD396,D975,D2880andD3699.Reddyeconcentrationsaredeterminedatlevelsequivalentto0.1to20mg/LofSolventRed26insampleswithASTMcolorsrangingfrom0.5to5.TheASTMcolorofthebasefuelofred-dyedsampleswithconcentrationlevelsequivalentto0.1to20mg/LofSolventRed26isestimatedfortheASTMcolorrangefrom0.5to5.TheASTMcolorofundyedsamplesisestimatedovertheASTMcolorrangeof0.5to5.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
