【摘要】:1.1Thesetestmethodscoverproceduresforthedeterminationoftheresistanceofstainlesssteelsandrelatedalloystopittingandcrevicecorrosion(seeTerminologyG15)whenexposedtooxidizingchlorideenvironments.SixproceduresaredescribedandidentifiedasMethodsA,B,C,D,E,andF.1.1.1MethodA8212;Ferricchloridepittingtest.1.1.2MethodB8212;Ferricchloridecrevicetest.1.1.3MethodC8212;Criticalpittingtemperaturetestfornickel-baseandchromium-bearingalloys.1.1.4MethodD8212;Criticalcrevicetemperaturetestfornickel-baseandchromium-bearingalloys.1.1.5MethodE8212;Criticalpittingtemperaturetestforstainlesssteels.1.1.6MethodF8212;Criticalcrevicetemperaturetestforstainlesssteels.1.2MethodAisdesignedtodeterminetherelativepittingresistanceofstainlesssteelsandnickel-base,chromium-bearingalloys,whereasMethodBcanbeusedfordeterminingboththepittingandcrevicecorrosionresistanceofthesealloys.MethodsC,D,EandFallowforarankingofalloysbyminimum(critical)temperaturetocauseinitiationofpittingcorrosionandcrevicecorrosion,respectively,ofstainlesssteels,nickel-baseandchromium-bearingalloysinastandardferricchloridesolution.1.3Thesetestsmaybeusedtodeterminetheeffectsofalloyingadditives,heattreatment,andsurfacefinishesonpittingandcrevicecorrosionresistance.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Otherunitsaregiveninparenthesesforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
