【摘要】:Thistestmethodmaybeusedinqualitycontrollaboratorieswhentherepeatedanalysisoftitaniumdioxideinsimilarpaintsmayberequired.ReagentsandtimearekepttoaminimumwhenthistestmethodisusedinplaceofwetchemicalanalysissuchasinTestMethodsD1394.However,reproducibilityandrepeatabilityarenotasgoodasinTestMethodsD1394.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheatomicabsorption(AA)analysisoftitaniumdioxidecontentinpigmentsrecoveredfromwholepaint.Itisapplicabletoqualitycontrolsituationswherethesametypeofproductisrepeatedlyanalyzed.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardstatementsaregiveninSection7.
