【摘要】:Antiwearadditivesarecommonlyusedinpetroleumandhydrocarbonbasedlubricantstopreventmachinerywearbyformingachemicalbarrieractivatedbyfrictionalheat.AntiwearadditivesthatarephosphatebasedcanbemeasuredbyFT-IRspectroscopyusingthephosphateabsorptionband.Initially,phosphateantiwearadditiveswilldecomposeandformaprotectivefilmbybindingtometalsurfacesandthroughoxidativemechanisms,andsoadecreaseinthelevelofphosphateantiwearadditiverelativetothatinthenewoilisexpectedduringnormalmachineryoperation.Subsequently,significantdepletionofphosphateantiwearadditivesduetooxidationorhydrolysiscanoccurwhenthelubricantissubjectedtohightemperaturesandhighlevelsofmoisture.Thisusuallyoccurspriortothepointwheretheoxidationofthelubricantbeginstoacceleratex2014;makingtrendingofphosphateantiwearadditivesausefulindicatorofthelubricantx2019;sremainingin-servicelife.Monitoringofphosphateantiwearadditivedepletionisthereforeanimportantparameterindeterminingoverallmachineryhealthandshouldbeconsideredinconjunctionwithdatafromothertestssuchasatomicemission(AE)andatomicabsorption(AA)spectroscopyforwearmetalanalysis(TestMethodD5185),physicalpropertytests(TestMethodsD445,D2896,andD6304)andotherFT-IRoilanalysismethodsforoxidation(TestMethodD7414),sulfateby-products(TestMethodD7415),nitration,breakdownproductsandexternalcontaminants(PracticeE2412),whichalsoassesselementsoftheoilx2019;scondition,seeRefs(1-6).1.1Thistestmethodcoversmonitoringphosphateantiwearadditivesinin-servicepetroleumandhydrocarbonbasedlubricantssuchasvarioustypesofengineoils,hydraulicoils,andotherlubricantsthatareformulatedforprotectionagainstwear.Typicalphosphateantiwearadditivesincludezincdialkyldithiophosphates,trialkylphosphatesandtriarylphosphates.1.2ThistestmethodusesFourierTransformInfrared(FT-IR)spectrometryformonitoringofphosphateantiwearadditivedepletioninin-servicepetroleumandhydrocarbonbasedlubricantsasaresultofnormalmachineryoperation.Monitoringthedepletionofphosphateantiwearadditivesinin-servicelubricantscanindicateunusualwearorsevereoperatingconditionsofthemachine.Thistestmethodisdesignedasafast,simplespectroscopiccheckformonitoringofphosphateantiwearadditivesinin-servicepetroleumandhydrocarbonbasedlubricantswiththeobjectiveofhelpingdiagnosetheoperationalconditionofthemachinebasedonmeasuringthelevelofphosphateantiwearadditivesintheoil.1.3AcquisitionofFT-IRspectraldataformeasuringphosphateantiwearadditivesinin-serviceoilandlubricantsamplesisdescribedinPracticeD7418.Inthistestmethod,measurementanddatainterpretationparametersforphosphateantiwearadditivesusingbothdirecttrendanalysisanddifferential(spectralsubtraction)trendanalysisarepresented.1.4Thistestmethodisbasedontrendingofspectralchangesassociatedwithphosphateantiwearadditivesinin-servicepetroleumandhydrocarbonbasedlubricants.Warningsoralarmlimitscanbesetonthebasisofafixedminimumvalueforasinglemeasurementor,alternatively,canbebasedonarateofchangeoftheresponsemeasured,seeRef(1).1.4.1Fordirecttrendanalysis,valuesarerecordeddirectlyfromabsorptionspectraandreportedinunitsofabsorbanceper0.1mmpathlength.1.4.2Fordifferentialtrendanalysis,valuesarerecordedfromthedifferential......
